While searching for some information on several of the many OCD-related problems I have to live through I found this:

Which is of course COMPLETELY different than being diagnosed and actually SUFFERING from the situation (by the way, obsessively fangirling over an actor or classing your CDs alphabetically DOES NOT mean you have obsessive compulsive disorder!!!).

Honestly, I DON'T FIND THIS FUNNY!!!!
Okay, maybe I'm just an over-sensitive stupid whining bitch, but seeing how my OCD is completely fucking my life up, I reserve to myself the right to bash these "toy" monstrosities. Really, OCD is a mental disease who can make those who have it suffering a LOT (trust me I'm talking from personal experience). YES, I wash my hands all the time, YES I always feel the need to make completely crazy rituals about things as simple for normal people as taking a shower or watching a movie (you know you're really crazy when you've got, like me, movie-watching rituals), YES I'm stressed ALL THE FUCKING TIME about things you couldn't even imagine as stressfull, and finally YES I follow therapy, am fully aware that I'm deranged and extremely ashamed of it in the same time (except my close family, my shrink and people I anonymously talk to on the internet, nobody knows I have OCD).
Making fun of it is as insensitive and cunt-like than making fun of brain damaged or paralyzed persons. I'm wondering what their next step will be, creating little dolls of comatose people complete with the respiratory machines or quadriplegics on in their little wheelchair? And after that what, jews in concentration camp, african people dying of hunger??!!!!

There are really things you CAN'T make fun of if you have a minimum of dignity and empathy. I wish that OCD was one of these...(and naively thought so).



By the way I totally love the series "Monk", which I don't find offensive at all.
